I like this delineation. It prompted me to evaluate how I teach my 4 yr old, not to eat meat& eggs.

I see some value for teaching disgust at age 4, to a child living in majority (95%) meat eating population. It's a good barrier for self control, in the moment, if someone would pressure or say attract my kid to eating palletable food with meat/eggs.

As my kid grows up, I can gradually move to more sophisticated reasons to not eat meat.

Some cons of disgust are - my kid might turn that disgust on her peer kids, who do eat meat. Not fair to those kids.

How should I resolve this tension regarding teaching through disgust?
