In reply to shayshayma. I don't know much about your situation, or where you are considering moving to, but perhaps you could pick out what seems to be a good orthodontist before you make the move? For instance, if you haven't yet, you could search on ZocDoc.com or other similar sites and look for an orthodontist in the area you're thinking of going that has high ratings, good credentials, and takes your insurance. Even if this person were a pretty long drive from your new home, that still might make moving well worth it if the other reasons to move are strong.

In reply to Spencer. Thank you spencer for this post. Well I will piggy back off of Kevin Morgans question. I am considering moving to another city for financial reasons (more job opportunities in my field). But the problem is I'm worried if my daughter will still get good orthodontic care (she has braces) and also be able to get the medical care she needs because of braces. Also no matter where we go there is not a strong support system. And I'm worried that if we stay where we are we will still face financial hardship that we've been going through since moving here. (orlando, FL)

Great post! I especially liked the part about gathering data about other people who have made the same choices. I’ve heard it before, but it’s worth seeing again, because it’s easy to forget.
